Maps and tips to help get you on your way.

Mount Gardner Map

Mt. Gardner hosts a beautiful and technical trail system ready to explore. This map will help you as you head up the mountain, but as always, please proceed with caution and safety as you head into these off-the-beaten-path-trails.

You can also download this PDF Trail Map to keep on your person, or print out before you head out.

Tread Lightly

Heading into the forests is a privilege and we must proceed thoughtfully and carefully.

Leave no trace by packing out everything you pack in, stay on designated trails, and absolutely no fires.

Safety

Pack appropriately – bring a compass, map, warm clothes, solid footwear, water, snacks and a cell phone.

Bring a friend. And be sure to tell someone where you’re going and when to expect you back.

Connect with folks on the trails. Make eye contact and say hello, and help someone out if they seem off track. Together we can keep folks on the trails safer.

Good Trail Sense

Please keep your dogs close and ensure that they do not disturb wildlife or forest.
Be mindful of horses and other people’s sensitivity or fear of dogs.
Pedestrians yield to mountain bikes coming uphill.
Mountain bikers please yield to pedestrians on the downhill.
Be cautious, courteous, and kind to one another.
